Cost Templates allow you to add a series of cost elements consistently and efficiently to multiple structure items in a model. In the example below we're adding a number of Cost Elements that make up the total costs for a truck to multiple trucks in the Model's Structure.
Note that if you associations conflict with any tags you gave an Element in a template the tags from the association will take precedence and override the tags in the Element.
It can be tedious to create and populate a model with many Elements that each have different tag combinations if the combinations are sparse (eg. there won't be a cost for every combination). To make this easier you can use Dynamic Templating, which allows you to create Elements dynamically depending on the Inputs and Tags in an Input Set.
To use a Dynamic Template create a new Template and select the Dynamic Template toggle. You'll see a new section for Dynamic Templates where you can select an Input Set. Then when the template is saves it will automatically generate an Element with the relevant Tags for each Input in the selected Input Set.
So if we had an Input Set with three Inputs:

Then we'd get three Elements in the schedule, with the tags [A, 1], [A, 2] and [B, 3].
